I have the AquaVu 715C - I like it fine, except that it doesn't really show well in low light conditions, first it switches to B&W and then it just becomes hard to make anything out at all. But if there's not a lot of snow cover and the sun is shining, I get sweet visibility with great detail. I think if I had to do it all over again I'd probably shop a marcum unit or something else.
