It surprises me every time I go through airport security the amount of people that have no clue what they should or shouldn't be doing. It would make things a whole lot easier if people did their research ahead of time and know what to bring, what to wear and what to carry on. No one needs to be a seasoned traveler to educate themselves. I still see people wearing their belts (like the OP) carrying their whole make up case on their carry on bags, etc. I imagine security get annoyed after awhile as well with the lack of common sense and if a person is going to go through with attitude then I imagine its going to be directed back at them. I myself have had nothing but pleasant experiences with security personal when I've traveled.
