ive had great success with the hmr as a coyote gun 13/13. you just have to realize that it does have limitations. you wont hit the boiler if your doing a texas heart shot.

but Id suggest that 125-150 yards broadside to be a 'confident' shot on a coyote. it leaves a softball sized goo ball inside the ribcage and ventilates everything in its wake.
