The other day there was 6-10 inches of ice on Eagle. People were driving out in full sized trucks and SUVs. Crazy. Given natural variable ice thickness.. I wait until there is at least 14-16 inches of ice before driving on. The negative impact on your insurance if covered, plus cost to remove the vehicle from the lake, plus fines if any… I’m not too lazy to walk the beginning of winter.
