Fished all day today and found the bite to be very slow after about 9 this morning.
Started early in french bay and had pretty good action with chases that commited. Hole hopped between 30 and 110 feet from 9 until 11 and had some interest but definitely slower than early morning. Didn't seem to matter what lure, bait or presentation we used.
Moved to the main lake for a few hours, hitting various structure and depths between 60 and 170 feet. Managed to ice a couple more trout but most weren't interested or would only slowly chase a short distance.
Headed into the shallows for the last couple hours of daylight to chase pike and they didn't disappoint.
Ice was 10-13 inches everywhere we drilled, saw some brave souls in small trucks crossing the mouth of french bay
