I took a .280 Rem 700 on trade years ago, as it seemed like a fun cartridge to mess around with. It is now my go-to rifle for everything. I tried many different bullets in it, but settled on 120gr TTSX. After owning a ton of different rifles, I just found myself always coming back to the .280 Rem. Produces a tight group with minimal recoil and excellent stopping power.
That being said; I have had great results with other cartridges as well. The .280 just seems to suit me the best.
