I did over hear a lady ask what her first gun should be for property defence against two and four legged creatures. Had a laugh hearing the salesmen repeatedly ask what she was going to hunt with it. Apperently “I just want somthing to scare them” wasn’t a good enough answer.
I did have a salesman tell me to “get over it” and “you shouldn’t need to reload if you’re any good” when I asked if they had any left handed rifles.
