You have to understand the Hillbilly rural local mentality. They assume their great gramps and every body since has hunted that land and they belive it is their right to continue. Somebody from away buys some land there and posts it the locals get offended often very spiteful. Soon as the signs go up they are more determined than ever to hunt it out of spite. Catch them and confronting them often tends really peave them off, fences start to get cut, diesel gets stolen, tires go flat, water in gas tanks, things go missing etc etc, can turn into the Hatfield's and Mcoy's. If they have the urge to hunt it they will and outside of monitoring the boundaries 24 -7 you will not stop them.

They know when and where you and the wife works, how many dogs you have, know when your home and when your not, know all the ways in and out, know where the big bucks cross, feed and bed, where the moose hang out. They know your land better than you do. Sucks but thats just how it is in a lot of cases.

Except their pockets are not deep when it comes to a lawsuit.
