For those who want to try, a 243 case cut square works as a cheap rim thickness gauge.
I made a gauge using a magnetic dial indicator and a piece of flat bar stock. Drill the correct sized hole and drop the round in and set the dial on the rim. The bar stock is held on the top of the magnet block. I can sort a whole brick in less than an hour with this method
