Elk, if you don't mind me asking, at what range was the shot?
I am relatively new to the 6.5x55 fan club, and want to set some realistic expectations for this cartridge. I'm confident it will take deer out further than I'm comfortable shooting, but for Elk and Moose the cartridge might be the limiting factor...
