I took a 1000 lb bull elk at 400 yards. Bullet was a 130 grain accubond with a MV of 2850 out of a stock tikka. Broad side lung shot and the bull walked about 10 -15 yards and dropped. I would definitely use the same load on a moose. I recovered the accubond and it mushroomed perfect. This is not a calibre that you can drop an animal with a bad shot. If you do your part with a swede and use a good bullet you can drop elk or moose with ease.
