Default Is it normal for mamma and baby bears to be out still?

Was out in the white tail patch today trying to sweat out some Sat fun pounds an get the boy on a buck.

The deer are moving great now but.

Seems there’s a momma grizz with a really small cub wanding around the same area. I expect she’s chewing on the couple of gut piles that the ravens were on a ways over.

So we bugged out of there.

Ive seen lone grizz and black bear track in mid Nov, but never a momma and little one.

This is normal? Not uncommon?
