I hunted for a good many years with a single big game rifle. Tight cover, open fields, on point during drives, pushing bush, you name it. And yes it worked.

As finances became more lavish I bought more rifles, some simple because I had a hankering, some are dedicated to a purpose, some are a bit more utilitarian.

Vanilla ice cream is fun and ok, but let's face it some days tiger tail or rocky road are what a guy craves.

If we limit ourselves to nothing but utilitarian applications and desires, the bad guys will succeed in their agenda.

Go buy a rifle,, one you are just curious or intrigued about, and hunt with it.

I got tired of having so many flavours - my Ruger is the Tiger tail ice cream of firearms!
