I am running an Amundson wind warrior still water series 5 wt and the Amundson midge rod.
The wind warrior is kind of heavy and isn't the nicest for casting all day but does perform well when you need to mend line a bunch and punch nymphing rigs through southern alberta winds.
I actually really like the midge set up and use it quite a bit on smaller water when you don't have to bomb really long casts.
I am a big fan of medium action rods over the fast and extra fast action rods. They just feel more comfortable to cast for me.
