I was limited to how much time I could be out this morning due to the wife and I are heading out for Mexico in a few hours and I hadn't even packed yet.
I head for a feedlot on the creek valley and as I walk in I kick out two coyotes from the bales. One stops @ 80 yards and a 35 gr. Berger drops it in its tracks.

I continue towards the valley and see one coyote standing at the edge of the creek so I use the hills to hide my approach. When I clear the last ridge I see the coyote has moved out further and also its mangy. I sit down, range it at 277 yards and send a 35 Berger on its way. A few spins and the coyote falls over. After the shot I see another coyote come out to the edge of a willow patch that is ranged at 256 yards. The 20 Tactical puts coyote number three down. When I got to the creek I found the creek flowing and not cross able, so decided to pass getting a picture of the mangy dog.
At least the third coyote was on my side of the creek.
