I grew up shooting ruffed and spruce grouse with a 410, work for rabbits too. Its a good bush gun, not so much in the open. I've used it on sharps, but I decided to upgrade to a 20 a couple years back for the extra range and shot density for the sharps and pheasant. Like hunting big game with a smaller cartridge, know the limits of the gun and practice.
