I haven't fished right in town but below the glennifer dam for a few miles downstream has good potential for a few browns , rockies, goldeye, pike or even the odd sturgeon. I imagine there must be some good fishing runs and holes right in Red Deer too. take a good look at google maps in satelite view for ideas. Where there are islands midstream makes for two narrow water channels which might be more effectively covered.
