Actually shore fishing the NSR is your best bet for walleye....and some pike. Added benefit to hammer some Goldeye, suckers, and sturgeon....you can't keep the walleye but very few lakes where you can around here anyhow without draw tags.
Just need a nonresident license and there are lots of guys here who fish the NSR.
