I don't have much experience with a centerfire scope on a .22 but I had a older 2x Leupold m8 on my 452 in the beginning and it shot like this at 50m
I've never felt the urge to over scope a rifle. I don't need to see the rings of Saturn through it plus I feel they wreck the balance. Now my CZ wears a 4x28 Leupold rimfire scope and I find it a perfect fit for a .22
