Was fishing with my brother here in BC this last week, as soon as the water temps went above 20C (they are almost 26C now) we stopped fishing for trout because we were seeing the fish struggle during release, don’t usually keep fish but we had no other option. The Lakers especially experience a lot of stress coming from below the thermocline up to 20C+ water and even if they swim away, a lot of them won’t make it.
