Had That happen to my boy a couple years ago
it was 1 minute into his cow Elk draw on opening day
when he said .... dad on the left cow Elk coming out
3 more followed ...we sat in the truck and watched them
I said too bad you broke your ankle two weeks ago hey
2 days later in same spot 47 minutes after daylight 6 cow Elk and a 5X5 Bull walk out ..it was a 6 point zone .. I had the bull Elk tag
its even worse when your younger bro got his cow Elk 17 minutes into the Hunting season few years before
but he healed and was out today hunting with his buddy
