Good luck with the scope, my brother likes his on his 6.5 STW, now you get to start fine tuning everything - trigger, loads, and practice lots. I wouldn't worry about what anyone else on here says - just make sure you practice and have the confidence and ability to make a shot at the distance you are going to shoot at. I think I might pick one up as well for my Kimber 8400 P in 300 WM.
