I'd say its the same as the archery world.....I shoot at 80-90 yards with my bow and can hit an 8" plate at 80 yards.....even still, the conditions will NEVER be right for an 80 yard shot with my bow. Main reason, the animal is live and is always going to be a variable you cant control.....period.
