Like any fish there most activity feeding in prime times. Sun up and sun down. Whites on the feed bag will bite all day long certain times of the winter. Pretty common for the whites to be alittle slower in the afternoon tho. Weather, moon phase and time of year and snow cover can all play into fish activity in my opinion.
