I feel sorry for you, it must be tough waking up every day with this bitterness within you. The AB Government did they're research into this interim agreement way better than the Metis did. Even myself with genealogical research done by some of the countries leading researchers showing linage back many hundreds of years including a strong presence in central AB prior to 1900 will not be eligible. You don't need 20/20 to see this news release was just before calling an election to garner votes. I said it already the vast majority of Metis will see this as blowing smoke long after the election results are in. I will however continue buying my certificate and tags after all that's what helps sustain our hunting heritage and conservation.
