Well voting the right way is a start. And if we didn't have such a condescending "we know better" bunch of pinkos in right now, letter writing usually helps.
And what does the carbon tax do? Nothing. The government has a serious spending problem and the higher tax is just an enabler for their shortcomings.
If they want to do something, do something. Let's end fresh water fracturing. It might impact the price of energy, but there are options like produced water, sea water or different technology entirely. And if it costs a little more, at least the money went somewhere, and did something worthwhile.
