My response was largely based on the content of the few posts that the OP has under his belt, and his choice in profile names. I wholly agree one should be able to defend their home by any means possible; but I also find asking a Canadian forum for "field reports" on shotgun ammo for home defense a bit curious, considering how few/none among us will have ever fired upon a human. Perhaps the military veterans might have input, but then I don't even know if the CF uses shotguns in combat like the Americans do. The best info anyone could provide is on how their shotgun/ammo worked on similar to human sized game.
