Even common sense and a little unbiased observation would indicate that most of the earth's land masses are very thinly populated, if not outright empty. Quite apart from the Arctic regions of Canada, Siberia, and Scandinavia, you have Australia and NZ...mostly empty. Africa thinly populated if you look at density. South America, same. And the technology and farming methods we have are more than sufficient to feed everyone easily.

I'm not going to go into an in depth treatise on this, but there is an abundance of information to show that the whole overpopulation scare is no different than the scare of the coming ice age/global warming/climate change of the last 50 years, or of crime and violence skyrocketing, or pick your social problem. Create a crisis, come up with a 'solution', and control the masses for their own good. But I could get off topic. Here is a short and easy primer on the topic.

Sorry for the hijack. Cereal is bad.

Does this mean we can finally address the lies about overpopulation?

The overpopulation myth is the ultimate form of fear porn propaganda, it forces people to accept that there is no hope, no way to fix the world we live in, it's a joke and no one should take it seriously.

More lies from the liars that want you off the land and into the city prisons.
