happy, where are you fishing? Right on resort beach or going down to Punta de Mita? Also, what weight gear, etc.? I've fished when I've been there but pickings were pretty slim for me (few fish I couldn't identify and didn't eat). 4 piece 17lb travel rod with 12lb test on a decent Shimano spinning reel is all I've used, but thinking about putting together a dedicated travel rod package for beach ocean fishing.... (maybe I already have it?)
