I've bedded several rifles in both synthetic and walnut stocks with a simple gorilla epoxy or LePage steel epoxy.
7 bucks a tube and maybe 2 tubes max required to bed the front and rear of the action.
Shoe polish as a release agent and masking tape to keep the stock clean.
I'm not sure if the bedding kits would provide a better grade of epoxy, but my 300wm has held up for 7 years with no sign of slowing down.
Good luck to you. It can get messy!
Just don't panic and make sure you don't get a mechanical lock!
