I'm currently shopping for a new bh and I've NEVER had anything convince me to attempt twisting on a mechanical until now. It was so easy going about my life all happy and content with narrowing down a couple good fixed blades...and now I'm faced with the nuisance dilemma, "fixed OR mechanical". The allure to a mechanical is like Frodo putting on that ring!
