Deer numbers were low as far as we were concerned too
Just back from Rosetown and it was opposite. Tons of chicken, deer every where, and many ponds dried up. Saw up to 300 chicken on the cold blustery day, then maybe a doz on the Sunny day. Fair for the Huns.
