My Fav. thread as well
Here are a few from my dog Suki's first solo trip and only secod ever trip. Just last week-end at WW Birds. Slow start as Suki didn't truly understand what we where there for, but that changed as soon as she flushed that first bird. A clean miss. From that first flush on her tempo increase and she was working much harder and went into ANY cover I asked that she look into. I AM HOOKED.
Second bird flushed to low and I wasn't comfortable shooting as Suki was in persuit. I need to work on her with that. I had another shot at this bird later but he flushed on the ground and Suki didn't see him.
We went over to try to find the first bird I missed and eventually found him. Suki flushed him perfectly and I made the shot on this one. Perfect retrieve making for one happy father.
