We spent the morning at Gull ( Dec 31 ).
14" of solid clear ice where we fished.
Lots of 1 ton trucks driving by recording the soundtrack of the new star wars movie - wow .... was a little surprised to see the bigger trucks out.
Where we were was about 40 yards from the "well travelled" road from Aspen toward Brownlows. The 1/2 ton trucks were relatively quiet as they passed - but the heavier trucks definitely made some noise and sent some laser blasts out way.
A couple of the Dodge / Cummins / Metal Mulisha Team out there too - test piloting how fast you can drive your 1 ton before she breaks through the ice and thins the herd.
