I suppose people are able to cover more water and distance in the summer...But you do make a good point Wayne...just think there would be less of an impact through a couple of holes, and the fish are less active in the winter -generally speaking- summer nights- the walleye are easier to catch after sunset and before sunrise in shallower water and people can dissapear in a hurry. No getting stuck in the snow or leaving tracks even mantracker could follow...
