Must have been long winter nights, has no windows. Found some of his winter camps when he had camped on the trail, strechers and wooden frame. The guy never had a driver's licence, he was out there from fall till spring when he could hitch a ride back to town. I have alot of respect for the man, as I walk where he has walked.

i hear you jim, i have huge respect for the trapper the put so much work into the line. i find all kinds of usefull stuff, from axes, shovels, picks, chainsaw files, journals, books, maps, playboy mags from the 70's etc, etc.

the most usefull thing i found was, a needle and thread!. i had my jacket's zipper go and was able to find a needle and thread(i over looked the need!!) put some buttons on. carry on.
