How far are you moving?
When I moved here from Ontario I bought a enclosed cargo trailer for all my heavy shop and garage stuff.
Moving companies charge by weight and the cost per lb to have it in the moving truck would have been close to $5000.
By time I bought the trailer then sold it here I actually came out $3000 ahead
