funnel/colony traps are the way to go.IMO. fall,winter,spring. but its impossible to cover every single rat run in a slough. you still need another arrow or two in the quiver.
the biggest plus, being adjustable, the pole,clip,CS's. wouldn't be a tangled mess, and not take up much room.
looking forward to next season. sick and tired of skinning muskrats thou.
time to go steelhead fishing.
