I test drove the Canyon and I liked the power and all of the electronic convenience items, but a friend had several issues with his, and traded it off, so I went for the much better reliability record of the Tacoma. This is my fourth Toyota, and I guess that I am spoiled , after not having any reliability issues with them, like I did with my Ford and GM vehicles.
As for the Jeep Gladiator that someone is raving about, it hasn't been out very long, but has already had at least two recalls, as well as other issues.
