Anything under 25" I wouldn't even mention having caught, and for Walleye, "trophy" starts at 28" for me. (In MB, I'd say 30", 'cause there's just so many big greenbacks) I've never even seen one through the ice here (I know the rivers have them, but I'm told they're super rare in lakes in AB, especially south of Edmonton)...
So yeah, TLDR is: Want to get a 28"+ walter through the ice this winter...
