I got it on a small island off the coast of Mallasia back in 2001.
No hospital, the old guy I rented the beach hut off of knew what was wrong with me and took care of me. I lost 40lbs, took about 3 weeks to feel normal again. It locked all my joints and mussels, and it was a good thing the local knew what was wrong, fed me some kind of nasty tasting soup, but it kept me alive.
