Since never .
. I check mine every other day and never longer than 3 day check for the simple matter of bird damage . If the guy on this line is leaving snares out and unset for most of the year that is his business .. If still set well then that is certainly illegal as seasons do close . I wouldnt leave mine out for the fact of them becoming rusted and damaged as has already been stated .
