got to agree with ya Kyle. Holding a fish (esox) in almost any other manner besides a cradling position will do damage. And the damage isnt only restricted to internals, you most definatly run the risk of seperating the base of the skull from the first vertibrae. True these old large fish appear to recover, and swim off, but these complications created by improper handling, compounded with shock, spells dead fish.
