That depends on who you ask, I phoned F/W about 3 years ago about Star Lake and he said as long as the prop was out of the water.....no problem. This grey area has been going on for years and unless they just changed the wording, there is no where that it states you can not have a gas motor on your boat. You can not use the gas motor on posted "Electric Only" lakes but they can be on your boat (unless they just changed it).
