Fall turnover is my guess. Muir is so shallow that I think it is more affected by turnover than most trout lakes. Not aware of any shoreline disturbance or anything else around the lake that could be the cause so should clear up soon. Sure screws up the fishing though!
Hatchery is adding another 500 fish there this fall - mostly rainbows but some browns too.
