I too use a wagner, using a water based acrylic for indoor cabinetry and millwork. Thinned slightly, it performs best in a vertical orientation. Keep the bowl from getting too low as it will start to sputter if the pickup is not flooded. A couple of practice sweeps on scrap, and you should be good to go. Have some rags ready to wipe the nozzle if it starts to gum up. As mentioned, cleanup intensive.
