I do not feel qualified to answer that question as I have only fished the NSR and very few times at that. Maybe 6 times? Each time I targeted walleye and have caught more sturgeon than walleye? First outing(June 2013) I caught 10 sturgeon, 1 walleye and a 14" goldeye in about 4 hours of fishing , two of the sturgeon were tagged. I couldn't read the numbers on one tag but the other I could and reported it. I hadn't caught a tagged fish since the 80's on Lake Nip****ing.
