you could keep 5 or 6 premium bullets in a pocket....for the 7-08,A FRAMES,NP, etc....but the idea of the .280 is something to think about.

What good is premium ammo in your pocket going to do?
Any attacks i know of or victims of that ive talked to generally barely had time to chamber the rifle nevermind reach in a pocket for a few lol
As to the OP both are fine cartridges either will serve you well I prefer the 30-06 and the remington but niether are a bad choice
