I wanted to let you all know how much I appreciated getting to
know all of you. I felt it best to say so sooner rather than later
because of recent health events.

In early May 2018 I was bit by a texas lone star tick and contracted
Rocky Mt. Spotted fever AND AlphaGal (red meat alergy).

In late Oct. 2018 I started to come down with Pnamonia (sp?).
After 6 weeks of being on 2 different antibotics with a week in between
I got worse and spent 2 days and nights in the hospital on IV antibotics.
They did a MRI while I was in there and found 2 golf ball sized tumors
in my right lung. Went in with a scope and did biopies.
Put me on a 5th antibotic for 2 more weeks and sent me home.
Dec. 28th.

Did catscans and more mri's at the cancer center, found it in several
lymph glands, spleen, brain. That makes it stage 4 (found in 4 organs).

I start my first treatmeant this Thursday.

Because of the uncertanty of the outcome of my quality of life, not
being able to hunt, fish, target shoot or simply even walking around
any fair distance I wanted to post a note to you all in case things
go south.

After talking to the specalist at the cancer center today about my
chances for recovery and side effects of the treatment I have every
reason to beleve I will have a great and fast recovery!

If it works I don't need chemo, if it don't then I do.
I was tested and found to be 100 percent compatible for the new treatment,
1 every 3 weeks for 2 years with a possiblity of stopping the treatment
some time in the future after the 2nd year (cured).

Sorry about all the details but wanted to let you know why I posted
that I may find it hard to visit this site if things go bad.
