Sooo I've been trying to follow but without assuming, I can not figure out what exactly is the point you are trying to make.
Is it that
1- cwd isn't a threat
2- cwd isn't a big threat
3- some info regarding cwd is wrong
4- all cwd info is wrong
5- cwd has nothing to do with baiting cervids?
Or
6- none of the above.
